This property is 1 minute walk from the beach. Refurbished in April 2014, the stylish Hotel Du Vin, St Andrews is set on The Scores and next to the Old Course Golf Course. This boutique hotel features stunning views over St Andrews Bay and is well-located for the beach and the shops of St Andrews. This slate-tiled, terraced house, an impressive former family home, has been converted into a chic hotel. The luxury rooms come with Egyptian cotton sheets and rain-effect showers. There is also a TV, luxurious toiletries and free WiFi access. Hotel Du Vin St. Andrews has a French-style bistro serving home-cooked food prepared with seasonal and local produce. Guests can relax with a glass of wine in the bar and lounge area serving an impressive wine list chosen by the in-house sommelier. You can enjoy a stroll along the seafront to St Andrews’ famous university, while the shops, restaurants and pubs of North, South and Market streets are within a 10-minute walk.

Window seats in some bedrooms provide panoramic views over the Moray Firth and the mystical Black Isle beyond.

It is essential for all keen golfers to make a pilgrimage to play this fine old links at least once in their life. To play the course you must possess handicap certification and a maximum handicap of 24 for Gents and 36 for Ladies. We can source these times, which would ensure you secured guaranteed tee times well in advance of your arrival, but please note that in November the course will be played off mats. Not surprisingly the Kingdom of Fife and the County of Angus are a magnet for golfers from all over the world for here is home to the Old Course, St Andrews and Carnoustie golf links arguably the toughest golf course in Championship golf. The range and depth of golf in this area is unrivalled and many Clients base their entire golfing holiday in this area. The County of Perthshire is located further inland and is home to some of our best non links course such as Gleneagles & Blairgowrie. Par 72, Yardage – 6941
Designed by the team that brought you Kingsbarns, Castle Stuart opened in July 2009. Commanding a breathtaking coastal position, the course is built on three tiers ensuring that its golfers rarely lose sight of the dramatic views of the Moray Firth. Ranked 9th in Scotland and 65th in the Top 100 courses of the world last year Castle Stuart is set to only get better.Yardage 7009, Par 72.
This spellbinding course would almost certainly be an open championship course if not for its remote location. The course is undoubtedly worth the journey though with its timeless setting and natural plateaux raised greens making this course truly remarkable. Royal Dornoch Golf Club is the third oldest golfing town in the world with records dating back to 1616. Designed by Tom Morris, its reputation is underlined by the fact that it has 200 overseas members from USA alone. The Championship Course was ranked No.6 in the world and No.1 in Scotland by Golf Digest 2014.Yardage 6577, Par 72
A stunning links course overlooking the Moray forth Nairn Golf Club is a testing traditional links whose respected status in the world of golf is reflected by the fact that it was selected to host the Walker Cup in 1999. An excellent clubhouse and friendly staff match the quality of the course.Yardage 6774, Par 72.
The three courses at Gleneagles are blessed with surroundings of awe-inspiring beauty reflecting a truly highland landscape. The Kings and Queens courses were both designed by James Braid (a five times Open winner). When Lee Trevino first played Gleneagles he memorably remarked “If heaven is as good as this, I sure hope they have some tee times left”. Jack Nicklaus designed the PGA Centenary Course, which is set to host the 2014 Ryder Cup. Yardage 6790, Par 71.
